Centre for Culture and Disability Studies: Plenary

I am delighted to announce that my work has been selected to a part of the upcoming Disability and Disciplines Conference at the Centre for Culture and Disability Studies at Liverpool Hope University. In July, I will be wheeling my way to the U.K. (perhaps with some flying involved) to join new and established scholars in the field of disability studies for this biannual conference.

I have been placed on the plenary panel Critical Rethinking: Academic Approaches to Disability. I will have the privilege of discussing my work, Slow Reading: Embodied Disabled Practice as a Mode of Refusal alongside others who are reworking our understanding of disability in the academy.
